Instruction for deregistering an electronic cash register
Deregistration of an electronic cash register is governed by Government Decision N 1976-N of 03.12.2020, Annex 6 on accounting and deregistration of electronic cash registers. The application is submitted through the Electronic Reporting System at file-online.taxservice.am — the steps below walk through the process.
If the business is being liquidated (for a legal entity), the individual entrepreneur is being deregistered, or the entrepreneur has died, the tax authority deregisters active electronic cash registers on its own initiative — no application from you is required (Annex 6, clause 4).
